Anthoula P. Anagnostou
     Receptionist

Picture
Athoula has been with Circle Veterinary Clinic since 2002. As our receptionist, she is one of the first smiling faces you see when you walk in.
After the tragedy of 9/11 and over 25 years in the corporate world working for attorneys and financial advisers, Anthoula felt it was time for a “fun” life change… and what is more fun than working with animals.
Anthoula is a proud graduate of Conrad High School (GO REDSKINS!) and a lifelong member of the Stanton/Newport community.  Anthoula has been a Polar Bear for Special Olympics Delaware for 17 years and does not plan on stopping any time soon.  She is active in the Greek community and can be seen every year at the Greek Festival making loukoumades (honey balls).  She enjoys staycations, reading, petty point and relaxing on her deck with her friends and family, which include: Boo, a 15 year old Dachshund; Stoney, an 11 year old Terrier mix; Freda, a 7 year old (OCD ball playing) miniature Dachshund; and Anya a 7 year old Chihuahua.  All of her pets are rescues (a hazard of working for a veterinarian).

Sherrie Merced
     Receptionist

Sherrie started working at Circle Veterinary Clinic in January 2017. She will be graduating from Delaware tech in may of 2020 with nursing degree and hopes to specialize in postpartum care. Sherrie enjoys spending free time laying on a beach somewere warm. She has a Boston Terrior named Cato who is a great listener and amazing cuddle buddy.
